Gym for the elderly in Amsterdam

Our cozy neighborhood gym is located in Amsterdam South (de Pijp). All ages are welcome, but our 50-plus members say they feel very welcome at Fresh. Almost everyone says hello to each other. Anyway, you always receive a smile from our receptionist when you come in and of course also when you leave Fresh. This personal approach is important to us and this is what distinguishes us from other gyms in Amsterdam.

Group lessons for older people

Especially for our older target group we have the Body Basic group lesson. This group lesson you can follow at your own level. The squat, for example, you will certainly find during this lesson, but also other strength and balance exercises. Please let our trainer know if there are any injuries that need to be taken into account, so that you can get adapted exercises.

Guidance in the gym for the elderly

With us you are a personality, an individual and not a number. We help you with a personal training schedule and if you want you can make an appointment with one of our trainers every month. We will help you with your exercises, but we can also chat about daily life or a healthy lifestyle.

Working out with other elderly people

The great thing about our gym in Amsterdam South (de Pijp) is that we have seen friendships develop. A number of members who came to work out at the same time, now agree to work out together. For example, they do strength training together or follow a group class together. You can also look at this page where the focus is on exercising together. For example, you can easily get to know Fresh by first exercising with someone who is already a member.
