For weeks there has been a protocol with which people can exercise more safely, such as working with reservations, fewer people in a group lesson and a great distance between fitness equipment.

A certain number of types of training may not be possible in a fitness club in the near future, but individual strength training, cardio and (small) group lessons will not be a problem.”

Founder, Markus Torenstra, opened the first Fresh Fitness in 2004 with the core principles of providing a welcoming environment to work out in, with high-quality equipment and the best personal training available in Amsterdam. During my conversation with Markus these founding principles were recurring subjects, which even after 15 years are still core to everything about Markus and his business.
